About the 2023.1 Release
From November 2023, MYOB will be deploying the latest version, MYOB Advanced 2023.1. This release is packed with exciting new features that enhance the user experience and provide additional functionality.
To ensure a seamless transition, we highly recommend that you take advantage of our Release Readiness Program and conduct pre-upgrade testing. New Features and Enhancements

Viewing and changing an Employee’s profile
If your company uses the Advanced Employee Onboarding feature, you now have the ability to see which employee profile was utilized to onboard a specific employee. This information can be found on the Employee Onboarding Detail screen (MPATGI01), where you can check the Employee Profile ID and Employee Profile Description columns.
If you find that an employee's profile is not the best fit for them, you now have the ability to change their profile. Simply go to the Pay Details screen (MPPP2310) and use the new Apply Employee Profile option on the toolbar. This will update all of the employee's payroll settings, except for any unique information specific to them.

Side Panels are now available on the Employee Onboarding Detail screen (MPATGI01). This new feature allows you to view and edit the select employee's Pay details and Employee information, without having to open those screens separately.
Pay run error messages
Identifying the cause of pay run errors has become simpler on the Manage Pays, Pay Run Details, and Employee's Current Pay screens. Error messages now provide specific information about the employee, pay item, or entitlement that is causing the issue. This enhancement allows for easier troubleshooting and resolution of pay run errors.
