Error Your authorization has expired. Sign in again to proceed
If MYOB Advanced emails show the error "Your authorization has expired. Sign in again to proceed" click Sign In on the System Email Accounts screen
Purpose
To assist you to Sign In to your email account through MYOB and ensure the authorization test is successful when sending/receiving emails. This process is used to resolve the error:
"Your authorization has expired. Sign in again to proceed."
Note: This can occur if you have expiration set in your Email Settings external to MYOB Advanced. There is not a setting in MYOB Advanced to control this.

Before You Proceed
To determine why an email failed to send, open the All Emails screen, locate the specific failed email, and review the error displayed in the Email Activity section.

Sign In to System Email Account
To sign in to your email account:
- Navigate to and open the System Email Accounts screen (SM204000).
- Click the magnifying glass and select the relevant email account.
- Click Sign In and follow the prompts to sign in to your Microsoft 365 account.
System Management > Email Preferences > System Email Accounts (SM204000) - Click Test to confirm a successful connection.
