Managing Partner Support Access

In MYOB Advanced you can modify, restrict and grant access for your Partner Support Licenced BusinessHub Consultants

Purpose


MYOB Users with the Full User Licence and Administrator Role are able to manage  BusinessHub consultants access. We may require access to your MYOB when assisting with a Support Inquiry.

For security purposes, we recommend that you set a date for the Partner Support access to expire, for example the date that the work or support is expected to be completed, or that you use the Partner Support screen to manage/cease BusinessHub's access after the work has been completed.

Before you Start


Only Users with the Full User Licence and Administrator Role are permitted to access the the Manage Partner Support Access screen (MYSM2010) to manage the access Partner Support Licenced Users.

Managing Partner Support Users


  1. Click on the Tools menu at the top right of the screen and select Manage Partner Support Access (MYSM2010).


    Note: If you do not have this option, type Partner Support in the global search field in MYOB Advanced and select Partner Support under User Management.
  2. Find the name of the BusinessHub Consultant you wish to extend access to and click on the Stop Access at column in order to change the date. Select a new expiry date in the future.

  3. Click Save.

  4. To further modify the access, select Manage to:

    1. Assign or remove User Roles from the BusinessHub Consultant

    2. Restrict Partner Support User to be a specified IP Address range

  5. To restrict BusinessHub Consultants from exporting data from your MYOB Advanced, untick the checkbox in the Allow Export of Data column.
