MYOB Acumatica Outbound Connection IP Whitelisting Requirements

In MYOB Acumatica there are certain outbound connection requirements for an IP address to be whitelisted

Purpose


 
When integrating Acumatica ERP with external systems, for example by scheduling a flat file import of data to MYOB Acumatica from an external server, some SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) or FTP (File Transfer Protocol) may require outbound connections from Acumatica’s environment to sync files from an External Server.  
 
To ensure these integrations function smoothly and securely, it is necessary to whitelist Acumatica’s outbound IP addresses on the recipient server or firewall.
 

Outbound Connection Information


 
Outbound connections from Acumatica are used for:
  • SFTP or FTP communication between Acumatica and third-party systems
  • Synchronizing information through webhooks, REST APIs, or automation schedules
Whitelisting ensures that the target system recognizes the incoming requests as legitimate and prevents connection blocks or timeouts due to firewall restrictions.
 
Below is an example of an error that can occur if there is a connection block:
