Tax withholding - Fixed Percentage Withholding Variation

How to set a fixed percentage withholding variation in the Taxation tab of the employee record in MYOB Acumatica Payroll

Purpose


From time to time, an employee will receive an advice from the Tax Office informing of a Flat Rate of Tax to be applied to their Income, the following notes explain how this can be set in MYOB Advanced Payroll.

Setting a Fixed Percentage or Flat Rate of Tax


  1. Navigate to and open the Pay Details screen (MPPP2310).
  2. Search for and open the relevant employee record.
  3. Click the Taxation tab.

    Payroll > Employees > Pay Details (MPPP2310)
  4. Click the Yes option on the Override tax scale with flat tax rate?
  5. Enter the relevant percentage for the required tax rate and click Save.
