      Freight management software to simplify and automate logistics operations

      Overview of MacShip

      MachShip is an online freight management software for managing logistics operations including: 

      • the automated pushing of open shipments from MYOB Advanced into MachShip
      • rate management & quoting
      • real time tracking across every point of the shipment delivery journey
      • automated flows for identifying carrier overcharges and lodging carrier credit requests
      • dashboards and detailed reports to oversee your freight management operations

      Order Syncing

      Here is how MachShip's order syncing integration works:
      1. We check MYOB Advanced every 5 minutes for newly created shipments in the 'Open' status
        1. Optionally filter By Warehouse, or Ship Via method
        2. Status filter can be adjusted to suit your workflow
      2. We create a pending/draft consignment in MachShip for each MYOB Advanced shipment found 
        1. Pass across warehouse, shipping details and order and shipment number to reference field
        2. Shipment SKUs, or Packages can be mapped as cartons - or warehouse can add packages to MachShip
        3. Ship Via can be mapped to pre-select the carrier
      3. Order is picked and packed by warehouse 

      4. Warehouse open MachShip, search for the order using MYOB Advanced shipment number and input boxes onto the consignment

        1. This step can be skipped if we map box data or items during create process.
      5. Pickers/Packers select a carrier service, or simply use cheapest. 
      6. Labels print out
      7. Once the consignment is manifested, we update MYOB Advanced shipment & packages with the following details
        1. Set Selected Carrier as Ship Via
        2. Set cost as Freight Cost
        3. Set Carrier / Service as description on package
        4. Set Consignment ID on ref number 1 on package
        5. Set tracking link on ref number 2 on package
        6. Set consignment ID on Tracking Number
      8. Shipment is marked as confirmed 

      Syncing Notes & FAQs

      1. This workflow can be tweaked and adjusted - this includes the filters, the process and the fields that are updated.
      2. Syncing occurs every 5 minutes - if you need it to be more instantaneous, you need to register our webhook URL inside your MYOB Advanced configuration
      3. We cannot do live quoting inside the MYOB Advanced UI - users need to do this inside MachShip.
      4. The turnaround time on and integration is 2-3 business days from when we get an API key.
      5. There are add-ons for MYOB Advanced, such as Evexso that act as a WMS and a pick/packing interface - this allows the user to do their pick/pack without touching MachShip.

      Integration Setup


      All integrations are completed by MachShip's in house integrations team that specialise in setting up integrations with MYOB Advanced - they should not need assistance from your team, or developers outside of clarifying how you would like the integration to be configured and providing us API keys. If you'd like to setup webhooks, this needs to be configured by BusinessHub, though MachShip can guide you on the process using the following instructions outlined in this link: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cZiFffVPIGB

      MachShip will require a Full User (Full API) licence with 'SO Manager' User role.

      In this case Macship oesn't require to access to website, but BusinessHub consultant should follow the following process to complete the setup in MYOB Advanced on their behalf.

      At the end they will require a URL, Client ID, Value (Secret ID).

      Register a Client Application With An Application Secret

      1. On the System tab, click Integration.
      2. In the navigation pane, navigate to Configure > Connected Applications.
      3. In the Client Name box, type the name of the new registered application - IE "Machship"
        1. Leave the Client ID box blank. The system will fill it in when you save your changes on the form.
      4. In the OAuth 2.0 Flow box, select Resource Owner Password Credentials.
      5. On the Secrets tab, do the following to create a secret:
        1. On the tab toolbar, click Add Shared Secret. The Add Shared Secret dialog box opens.
        2. In the Description box, type the description of the shared secret. IE. Machship
        3. Optional: In the Expires On (UTC) box, do not set an expiry.
        4. Copy and save the value that is displayed in the Value box.
          1. Note, For security reasons, the value of the secret is displayed only once: when you create the secret by invoking this dialog box.
        5. Click OK to save the secret and close the dialog box.
      6. On the form toolbar, click Save.
      7. Notice that the client ID has been generated in the Client ID box. Copy this value.
        1. The full key should be something like "AC6343434DB-D343B-A567-ACCF-9226B00GF4534@Your Company Pty Ltd"
      8. Click the integration to open it up
      9. Select the "Redirect URIs" tab.
      10. Add the following URI and hit save: https://sync.fusedship.com/oauth2/myobAdvanced/callback

       

      The Hub CRM
