Unable to Register for 2FA when Single Sign On (SSO) Enabled
In MYOB Acumatica if Azure SSO if enabled there is no option to register for 2FA (MYOBID)
Issue
When using Azure AD (Azure Entra SSO) Single Sign-On for multifactor authentication in MYOB Acumatica, there is no option to register for a MYOBID account if you have not previously created one.
Impact
As a result, users are unable to access essential functions, including:
- Applying for Bank Feeds.
- Registering for Pay Super (new customers).
- Submitting Single Touch Payroll (STP) data.
Workaround
To manually create a MYOBID account for access:
- To create a new MYOBID account go to the MYOB Community forum at https://community.myob.com/.
- Use the Register link at the top of the screen, this will let you create a new account which can then be used as normal.
For further information please refer to the MYOB Known Issues article.
Resolution
Following this update to 2025.1.100 / 2024.2.200, selecting Sign In on the Apply for Bank Feed screen will automatically direct users to either Sign Up or Sign In, based on whether a MYOBID is already associated with their email address.
